Solex-LINEAR offers a simple and cost effective external shading solution to any glazing facade.
The system is designed to offer either a 'continuous' or 'modular' shading appearance when fitted to the building.
Integral 'hollow-section' rafter arms can be fitted back to the building structure at up to 3.0m horizontal centres with solid 'ZED' - 'C-curve' or 'S-curve' blade profiles clipped to the rafter arms to provide the required shading mask to the elevation glazing.
Solex-LINEAR systems are generally supplied as horizontal shading structures with the whole of the projection arranged as a simple cantilever or supported with a diagonal strut restraint to assist in our service loads been acceptable to the building structure at point of connection.
Projections are available up to 2.50m and subject to design review for the particular site and application under consideration.
