Bomb Blast Plates

25mm thick steel plates and support steelwork have been supplied and installed by Solinear as part of its sub-contract works at Project Fox, a new Data Centre development currently under construction in Leicester.

The steel plates form part of the ‘BOMB BLAST’ strategy to the two Data Centres and are fitted behind Aquarius™ XLINE-AQ100 architectural weather louvres to provide an aesthetic visual appearance to the buildings.

Each building required 4 x sets bomb blast plates to protect essential services and were fitted by Solinear’s own installers, with due regard to all Health & Safety matters associated with carrying out such works at height.

Tom was raised with the family business and has 20 years’ experience in the sector, working in every facet of the business including fabrication, installation, design, project management, to now fulfilling his role as Managing Director of Solinear. Outside of work, Tom prioritises time with his family, enjoying gardening, keeping fit and travelling as much as possible. He’s still a die-hard Ravens fan!
