The Product

Solinear Medera timber shading was specified for this new Marks & Spencer development in Reading.  Elliptical shading blade profiles were manufactured from 285mm x 45mm Western Red Cedar material section.

Profile

The blade profiles were fixed to profile cut aluminium end plates suitable for fixing between a 150mm x 50mm wide extruded aluminium vertical RHS mullion carrier to provide feature recess between blade modules.  Integral signage support was provided within the support structure provided to allow the M&S corporate logo to be fixed and displayed when available.

Installation

All installation works were carried out by Solinear fitters in one single day working from a mobile scaffolding tower.
