Christmas jumper day at Solinear HQ

Whilst some of the team are very much ‘Bah humbug!’ others have fully entered into the spirit of the festive season.

Herding snowmen

Christmas 2018 was noted for its absence of festive attire photos, however, a few members of the Solinear team did wear Crimbo jumpers, some even went as far as having music and in-built flashing LEDs! The problem was that the Christmas jumper wearers suddenly became very camera shy and, although Solinear prides itself on being ordered, disciplined, communicative and cooperative where work is concerned, none of this was evident in the Christmas jumper department! Synchronising and organising Christmas jumper wearers was impossible with people wearing them on different days and attempting to get the team together for a collective Christmas Jumper Day photo was like trying to herd snowmen! The only way to acquire a photo would have been to set up a camera trap like the ones on those nature documentaries – instead of some lush ripe fruit to tempt the elusive creatures – chocolate biscuits would’ve been strategically placed in front of a motion sensor triggered hidden camera ready to snap the cautious Solinear Christmas jumper wearers.

Brexit – discuss

Last year the words ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ might as well have been synonymous with ‘let’s discuss Brexit’ as people left the office en-masse at the mere mention of it, but with a whole year to come to terms with the concept, this year, many have…welcomed is too strong a word…so, let’s go with tolerated, the idea – accepting the notion of Christmas Jumper day that is – not Brexit.

Evidence

There were some pouty bottom lips and mutterings, like stroppy children, but with 2019 festive calendars synchronised and no excuses accepted, this year Solinear was going to fully embrace Christmas Jumper Day and there would be photographic evidence to prove it!

Therefore, we are proud to present Solinear Christmas Jumper Day!

Update: Some of Solinear’s cheeky elves have escaped…If you find them, please send them back for Christmas jumper photos! Meanwhile here are a few who didn’t escape.
