Solinear awarded Constructionline Gold 2021/22 certification
Solinear is proud, once again, to have been awarded Constructionline Gold certification. for the eighth year running, after passing thorough assessment and demonstrating excellent practice in environmental management, quality management, equalities, and diversity.
What is Constructionline and how does it help Solinear?
Established in 1998, Constructionline is a register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants, used by the construction industry in the UK and accessed by over 2500 organisations. This comprehensive register helps to enhance a business’s professional image, affiliating them with the CIC (Construction Industry Council). Its database is accessed by organisations including central government, local authorities, and main contractors – all of whom require a company to be accredited before considering them for inclusion in the tender process.
Holding Constructionline Gold certification demonstrates to specifiers that Solinear has been subjected to intense scrutiny around governance and risk management allowing Solinear to bid for, and potentially win, significant work.
Solinear is assessed by Constructionline in areas such as environmental management, quality management, equalities and diversity; meaning that the company abides by up-to-the-minute legislation in areas such as modern slavery, anti-bribery and corruption and demonstrates to potential buyers that Solinear has been assessed, passed and adheres to these standards.
With CHAS, SafeContractor SSIP and ISO 9001 accreditation already in place, this reinforces Solinear’s reliability and stringent compliance with health & safety legislation and is especially significant in relation to transmission of viruses and the use of PPE to protect Solinear staff and clients as well as the public.
Constructionline and Covid-19
Since March 2020, Constructionline has had a COVID-19 incident management team in place with senior representation from across the Supplier Assessment Services group. This team meets regularly to oversee how to approach the everchanging directives surrounding Covid-19 and Constructionline remains committed to supporting the construction industry throughout this difficult time.
