(Almost) Farewell 2019, it’s been…BUSY!
In past years things have traditionally quietened down leading up to December and pick up again a month or so into the new year but it seems that this year we’re going to be flat out well into December…and we’ve got solar shading, cladding and louvre orders already reaching far into 2020 and beyond! At this rate we’re going to have to open another branch of Solinear!
As it is, Oak Tree house, our home for over eight years, is no longer able to accommodate the burgeoning business that is Solinear and we’re having to move to bigger premises. Sadly, the mighty oak, which can be seen from our window, will no longer be our neighbour. We’re not going too far though so we’ll still see the oak tree every day – we will literally be around the corner at Unit 18-20, Alan Farnaby Way on Sheriff Hutton Industrial Park. Our postcode will remain the same (YO60 6PG) as will our phone number (01347 879 046). Please make sure that from 15th November all postal correspondences are sent to the new address.

Our move will also coincide with Solinear’s 15th Birthday so it’ll be a joint celebration and, as the new premises are so big, we could have quite a party! Fifteen years’ worth of enormous success, expertise and continual development in the field of solar shading, brise soleil as well as cladding and architectural, ventilation and acoustic louvres is a great achievement and something to be tremendously proud of, however, with all the excitement and activity of moving and the amount of work on the books at present, we might just keep it a bit lower key…with cake and champagne though, of course!
Whether you love it or hate it, Christmas will soon be upon us and the Solinear team will be ready for a well-earnt break. The office will be closed from 20th December until 6th January so please keep that in mind if you have a project booked in with us or would like to discuss your solar shading and louvre requirements for 2020. Upon return we’ll be refreshed, and prepared for a busy year ahead, so we’re all very much looking forward to hearing from our loyal and faithful customers as well as new contacts that we hope will develop into great working relationships.
