All Aquarius™ X-LINE louvre systems are manufactured from extruded aluminium to Solinear custom brand geometric design profiles, with inherent airflow and weather performance data and capability, available through testing and CFD software modelling to ensure correct and optimised system performance wherever used on the building façade.

The Aquarius™ X-LINE louvre system features a solid, ‘Z’ section, extruded aluminium louvre blade profile set to a varying vertical pitch spacings.

The XLINE louvre system can be used to provide louvre panels suitable for incorporating into curtain walling or window systems, cladding openings or as a larger roof louvre or ventilation screening system to the building.

Louvre Fixings

X-LINE AQ50

The Aquarius™ XLINE-AQ50 louvre system features a solid, ‘Z’ section, extruded aluminium louvre blade profile set to a 50mm vertical pitch spacing. The XLINE-AQ50 louvre system can be used to provide louvre panels suitable for incorporating into curtain walling or window systems, cladding openings or as a larger roof louvre or ventilation screening system to the building. The louvre blades are fitted back to ‘hidden’ vertical support mullions to provide a continuous, unbroken appearance. Alternatively the system can be supplied with recess flashing sections to provide vertical ‘feature’ breaks along the perimeter length of the louvre screen.

Selection of the Aquarius™ XLINE-AQ50 louvre system is usually recommended to provide higher levels of weather performance and allow low to moderate air volumes to pass through the louvre, with corresponding low inlet/discharge velocities and pressure drops.

A ‘double bank’ chevron blade profile variant is available, which provides even greater rain defence properties, should this be a critical issue to the building’s weather tightness.  This louvre can provide a Class A weather performance rating up to 1.5m/s suction velocity.

Aquarius™  X-LINE AQ75

he Aquarius™ X-LINE AQ75 louvre system features a solid, ‘Z’ section, extruded aluminium louvre blade profile set to a 75mm vertical pitch spacing. The X-LINE AQ75 louvre system can be used to provide louvre panels suitable for incorporating into curtain walling or window systems, cladding openings or as a larger roof louvre or ventilation screening system to the building. The louvre blades are fitted back to ‘hidden’ vertical support mullions to provide a continuous, unbroken appearance. Alternatively the system can be supplied with recess flashing sections to provide vertical ‘feature’ breaks along the perimeter length of the louvre screen.

Selection of the Aquarius™ X-LINE AQ75 louvre system is usually recommended to provide moderate levels of weather performance and allow medium levels of air volume flows to pass through the louvre, with corresponding medium value inlet/discharge velocities and pressure drops.

A ‘double bank’ chevron blade profile variant is available. which provides even greater rain defence properties, should this be a critical issue to the building’s weather tightness.

 X-LINE AQ100

The Aquarius™ X-LINE AQ100 louvre system features a solid, ‘Z’ section, extruded aluminium louvre blade profile set to a 100mm vertical pitch spacing. The X-LINE AQ100 louvre system can be used to provide louvre panels suitable for incorporating into curtain walling or window systems, cladding openings or as a larger roof louvre or ventilation screening system to the building. The louvre blades are fitted back to ‘hidden’ vertical support mullions to provide a continuous, unbroken appearance.  Alternatively the system can be supplied with recess flashing sections to provide vertical ‘feature’ breaks along the perimeter length of the louvre screen.

Selection of the Aquarius™ X-LINE AQ100 louvre system is usually recommended when weather performance is not a crucial requirement and high levels of plant screening or air volumes are required to pass through the louvre with corresponding low pressure drops.

A ‘double bank’ chevron blade profile variant is available. which improves the rain defence properties of this system but is generally beneficial in improving screening of plant and mechanical services.

Thermal Insulation

Insulation Blanking Panels

To the internal face of our Aquarius™ X-LINE louvre systems, Solinear can supply and install a range of insulated blanking panels capable of increasing the thermal performance of the louvre to a specified ‘U’ value.. The blanking panels form part of our range of composite and single skin blanking panels, that can be fitted directly to the back of the louvre system.  Due to the varying nature of thermal transmittance specifications, all our blanking panels are of bespoke design to meet specified requirements.

The construction of our blanking panels can vary to suit any specification, whether that be a certain ‘U’ value, restricted structural opening depth or a combination of criteria.

From a single skin blanking sheet, manufactured from aluminium or steel to thin gauge composite panels and completely bespoke composite constructions, comprising an internal solid skin, solid infill core with foiled edges and an external facing sheet. All of which can be provided with a Plastisol or Polyester Powder Coated finish to compliment the louvre system.
