Solinear have invested heavily in the use and application of the latest computer hardware and 2D/3D modelling software to assist in the design, development and manufacture of its Solar Shading ‘Brise Soleil’, Architectural Louvre, Perforated Mesh & Fabric Shading Systems and Access Walkway products.
We design all of our products using the very latest Autodesk Mechanical and Inventor 3D design software, allowing us to incorporate external details and supply our drawings and design documents in electronic DXF/DWG/DWF or PDF file format for easy collaboration, design reference and inclusion directly into your own CAD details or model.
Sun path solar analysis can be carried out to support our solar shading proposals. Specialist computer software uses predictive ray casting technology to model the suns paths and subsequently calculate the amount of sunlight penetrating the building façade after our solar shading system has been taken into account. Using the graphical data produced we can assess how the current solar shading proposal performs and potentially how it could be enhanced, to reduce the amount of glare and additional heat affecting the internal space of the building. This ensures complete accuracy and maximum effectiveness of our system’s performance.
We use the latest material optimisation software to minimise waste of raw materials and limit damaging effects on the environment.
Louvre Performance Testing
The Solinear Aquarius™ X-LINE product range has been development tested using the BSRIA test facility at Bracknell, in accordance with the requirements and specification of the European standard EN13030, to establish and maximise the aerodynamic and weather performance of our louvre systems. Further CFD analysis has been carried out to enable accurate pressure loss data to be recorded and corresponding ‘K’ or ‘Ce’ factors and coefficients to be determined.
Results derived from the testing of the Aquarius™ X-LINE Louvre systems allow Solinear to offer our customers the most comprehensive data/advice on louvre product selection and suitability in terms of airflow and weather performance.
Acoustic performance can also be achieved by use of either ‘acoustic louvre’ products or acoustic performance insulated and non-insulated blanking panels fitted to the rear of our louvre systems. These acoustic systems are tailored to meet our clients exact requirements.
