Office pets? No, and can’t really count the bird that flew into the office but was carefully and delicately shown the way out.

Won any awards? Well, as you know, we don’t like to boast but YES!
Has anyone made cakes? Yes, Laura made a lush rocky road. As she mentioned on the Solinear Whatsapp group ‘Do an extra 20 min cardio or bring will power to work’. Good advice indeed!
Busy? Yes

That just about sums it up! However, it might be an idea to expand on at least some of those points…
The Solinear team continues to work safely and is getting back to some semblance of ‘normal’ – whilst some work from home, others work in the office or on site with the usual careful consideration to colleagues. Production has increased and Solinear is pleased to report that business is very healthy. The team is busy and enquiries are pouring in, which is great news and Solinear, as always, is hugely grateful to those loyal clients who have supported us, especially over the past year.
The team is looking forward to welcoming new clients and seeing familiar faces again too.
New Solinear team members
Whilst on the subject of the team and the how busy Solinear has become, it was felt that the time had come to consider taking on additional members of staff to handle the demands of the growing business – helping with some aspects of the company that required more attention and further development.
Solinear is delighted to welcome Briony and Laura to the team; Briony is Solinear’s Project Co-ordinator and Laura is Procurement Co-ordinator. They bring with them wide-ranging skills and experience which are highly desirable and transferable in helping to support projects and contribute to the continued satisfaction of Solinear’s clients.
Briony and Laura have settled in well – proving to be great at their respective roles and an excellent fit for Solinear.
There are factory staff members to formally introduce too – some have been with Solinear for a number of years whilst others are relatively new. Bobby and Elliott may already be familiar to some – Elliott was active in Solinear’s manufacturing of face shields back in March 2020 and Bobby’s incredible land rover, Winston, has been featured on Solinear’s social media.

Solinear has been recognised as one of the country’s leading Architectural Solar Shading Engineers and the Majestic project in Leeds amazed judges, standing out as one of the most impressive architectural and louvre shading projects of 2020/21.
More will be revealed in the next newsletter but suffice to say, Solinear is flying the flag for businesses in Yorkshire!
