What is Constructionline and how does it help Solinear?
Constructionline is a register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants, used by the construction industry in the UK and accessed by over 2000 organisations. This comprehensive register helps to enhance a business’s professional image, affiliating them with the CIC (Construction Industry Council). Its database is accessed by organisations including central government, local authorities, and main contractors – all of whom require a company to be accredited before considering them for inclusion in the tender process.
Being a Constructionline Gold and Silver member demonstrates to specifiers that Solinear has been subjected to increased scrutiny around governance and risk management allowing Solinear to bid for, and potentially win, significant work.
Constructionline assesses Solinear in areas such as; environmental management, quality management, equalities and diversity, subsequently, this means that the company abides by the up-to-the-minute legislation in areas such as modern slavery, anti-bribery and corruption and demonstrates to potential buyers that Solinear has been assessed, passed and adheres to these standards.
With CHAS and SafeContractor SSIP accreditation already in place, this reinforces Solinear’s stringent compliance with health & safety legislation and is especially significant with the mounting concern regarding transmission of viruses and the need for PPE to protect Solinear staff and clients as well as the public.
Constructionline and Covid-19
Since March, Constructionline has had a COVID-19 incident management team in place with senior representation from across the Supplier Assessment Services group. This team meets regularly to oversee how to approach the everchanging directives surrounding Covid-19 and Constructionline remains committed to supporting the construction industry throughout this difficult time.
