It seems astonishing that 2021 is now nearing its end, following the blur that was 2020. As last year, nothing has stopped Solinear from doing its utmost to provide the best service possible in the circumstances – keeping existing clients happy and fulfilling contracts, whilst attracting the attention of new customers with exciting new projects to get stuck in to. All the while making sure that staff and clients remain safe and healthy. Aside from being awarded some of the country’s best architectural louvre and brise soleil contracts, Solinear has been the delighted recipient of some other notable awards.
Solinear does it again!
Solinear’s health, safety and quality standards, amongst other aspects of the daily running of the business, are scrutinised every year by Constructionline, CHAS and Alcumus Safe Contractor and Solinear is subjected to thorough examination by the National Quality Assurance (NQA) board, every three years, to achieve ISO 9001 certification.
This year, as previous years, Solinear has taken measures to demonstrate that it is a business that takes its responsibilities seriously. Health (physical and mental), safety, quality and reliability are cornerstones of the Solinear reputation, so, the team was delighted to be recognised and rewarded for the values it holds with such reverence.
Solinear is proud to have been awarded Constructionline Gold, CHAS Premium Plus, CHAS Health & Safety and Alcumus SafeContractor accreditations alongside ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Solinear receives award
Voting for the Construction & Engineering Awards 2021 officially went live a few weeks ago, and Solinear was highlighted as a potential nominee by the highly respected BUILD magazine.
Solinear went on to win a Construction & Engineering Award and has been recognised as one of the country’s leading Architectural Solar Shading Engineers, flying the flag for businesses in Yorkshire! Solinear’s Majestic project in Leeds amazed judges, standing out as one of the most impressive architectural and louvre shading projects of 2020/21.
As Build Magazine mentions – ‘Previously, companies from this sector, who have won the award, have been considered the backbone of the industry, working day-in-day-out to build a better future for everyone.’
Now in its 6th year, the prestigious Construction & Engineering Awards is a chance for businesses like Solinear to reap the deserved rewards of hard work and dedication. The awards span construction and engineering disciplines, welcoming nominations from a variety of firms within the industry and giving contestants the chance to showcase projects.
Nominees are gathered via an online nomination form and those nominating are BUILD magazine subscribers, online visitors, social media audience, clients and Build Magazine’s wider, global circulation.
Nominee valuation is reviewed by Build Magazine’s research team, who assess all information presented to them. They gather information independently from a number of publicly available sources – evaluating the material supplied by the nominees and by those who put them forward originally.
The research team cast their final judgment based on various criteria including client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, client feedback and business performance – all of which Solinear prides itself on.
As Build Magazine states – ‘Just being nominated for this award has a positive impact on any business, and helps to expand the brand’s reach, increase credibility within the industry as well as boosting staff morale’.
That’s all, folks!
That concludes the November update, so, the next one will be a small December update…or Chri…no, still too early? – leave that to the altogether unwelcome TV, magazine and online ads and shopping aisles peddling mince pies in September!
