Solinear’s popularity continues with some very exciting projects in the pipeline as well as a few just nearing completion or completed and looking phenomenal, including the York University Anne Lister College, Silsden Primary School and Oaklands College – which will be highlighted on the Solinear website as well as social media, so look out for some fantastic photographs, updates and interesting reads over the next few months.
One of Solinear’s most iconic projects was The First light Pavilion project at Jodrell Bank. A fascinating and beautifully designed dome structure that the Solinear team was proud to work on, proving that when it comes to curves, Solinear is the perfect choice.
Solinear makes life more colourful
Not only is the Solinear team highly adept at curves and awkward shapes but also manufacturing statement brise soleil and facades in bold, exciting colours, as seen in these photos of recent Solinear projects. Whether it be standard RAL or bespoke colours, amazing results can be achieved, making an ordinarily lacklustre frontage into a breath-taking feature. The Solinear team is happy to help with enquiries regarding colour and bespoke finishes including bronze and metallics, wood effect and patterned brise soleil and architectural façades.
What does 2022 hold for Solinear?
Although COVID-19 had a considerable impact on the UK construction sector, evidenced by an understandably significant dip in output during 2020, the first half of 2021 saw a gradual rise back towards pre-pandemic levels and it’s predicted that construction output will return to pre-COVID levels in 2022.
Solinear is renowned for creating striking brise soleil and facades on a variety public buildings including care homes, hospitals, and, as seen in some of our more recent projects – schools and colleges, so it’s encouraging that public sector building has seen positive indicators of recovery, with social housing, health, schools and infrastructure projects already on the increase this year.
Understandably, as tenants and landlords continue to adapt premises to accommodate changing working practices, there has also been a rise in refurbishment projects.
The vital need for privacy, sustainable climate control and long-term methods of saving energy and subsequent costs have become a necessary aspect of modern life and as a result brise soleil and architectural facades are increasing in popularity.
With the above points in mind, Solinear is expecting to be busier than ever this year, with more high-profile contracts being bestowed upon the award-winning Solinear team.
