Introducing Solinear’s Design IntelligenceTM

Solinear Design Intelligence

Solinear knows that exceptional façade solutions begin long before manufacturing starts. They begin with knowledge, insight and understanding.

This philosophy is embodied in what we call Solinear Design IntelligenceTM – “A Proven, Repeatable Methodology” – the combination of technical expertise, practical experience, innovation and collaboration that enables us to transform architectural concepts into high-performance, buildable realities.

Solinear Design IntelligenceTM is more than producing drawings or selecting products. It is the process of analysing a project’s unique requirements and identifying the most effective solution for aesthetics, performance, budget, sustainability and durability. It means understanding how a façade will interact with light, heat, airflow, acoustics and the wider built environment.

Every project presents its own challenges to overcome. An educational building may require solar shading to improve occupant comfort and reduce cooling costs thus saving money on running costs. A data centre might demand acoustic louvres capable of controlling noise while maintaining essential natural airflow. A prominent commercial development could potentially seek a façade that not only delivers environmental performance but visual impact too. A residential building may require a highly bespoke system that offers practicality and privacy along with adaptability, such as operable louvres, to suit individual occupants.

Solinear Design IntelligenceTM brings these considerations together from the earliest stages of a project. By working closely with architects, consultants, contractors and clients, we ensure that every system is tailored to its specific application and performs exactly as expected.

The result is not simply a façade system, but a carefully engineered solution that balances form, function and performance.

By making our systems available through NBS Source as well as our website, Solinear helps construction professionals find, evaluate and specify our products with confidence.

NBS Source is one of the construction industry’s most widely used specification platforms, allowing architects and designers to discover Solinear’s products during the early stages of project development. This increased visibility ensures that our systems are considered alongside project requirements from the outset.

This useful resource enables specifiers to access detailed product information, technical data, performance characteristics and product specifications in a single location, streamlining the specification process and helping reduce the risk of errors or omissions.

Accurate specifications are critical to project success. By providing verified product information through NBS, Solinear helps ensure that the correct systems are selected and specified, reducing ambiguity and supporting smoother project delivery.

Ultimately, NBS makes it easier for construction professionals to work with Solinear. Whether specifying solar shading, ventilation louvres, acoustic systems or bespoke façade solutions, clients have access to the information they need, when they need it, helping projects progress efficiently from concept to completion.
