The sun’ll come out tomorrow…so you can bet your bottom dollar that Solinear will be delighted to install your solar shading!
Firmly into the second quarter of the year and it may be raining bucketful’s outside, but the proverbial sun is still definitely shining on Solinear – however, because it’s not actually physically shining on Solinear at the moment and making us squint whilst frantically reaching for a fan, or sticking our heads in the fridge, we don’t feel the need to diffuse it with one of our products just yet! Anyhow, you know what we mean…and besides, we’re a pretty cool bunch anyway!
The order book is bursting with new and exciting projects for the Solinear team to get stuck into and we’re busier than the proverbial busy bees (there we go again with the proverbial).
No matter what the British summer weather has in store for us, it won’t prevent the Solinear team from carrying out much-needed work, installing solar shading/brise soleil, to improve people’s working and living conditions in buildings all over the UK.
Casting our minds back to summer 2018 we remember the endless weeks of sun and unrelenting heat and whilst it was great for Solinear, proving how effective our solar shading was to those who had had our systems fitted to their buildings, nature suffered greatly. Whilst Dartmoor’s Burrator Reservoir dropped to below 50 per cent capacity revealing some interesting structures forming part of an ancient village that had previously been flooded, more worryingly, fish had to be rescued from diminishing lakes, ponds and rivers up and down the country. Lawns became straw and generally what was formerly green became a scorched yellow-brown.
So, if you do look out of the window to find that it’s raining and it makes you feel a bit sad, then just remember that a little bit of rain is good for the garden. That much-desired ball of hydrogen, helium and other space stuff will emerge once again so you can enjoy healthy blooms when the sun does come out!
